Ali is from Turkey and is a senior in Winthrop House. Driven by his passion in politics and business, he is pursuing a concentration in History with a secondary in Economics. Outside HSA, Ali is a Drug an Alcohol Peer Advisor as well as a member of the Crimson Key Society. He indulges in all things Turkish, such as coffee and dangerous amounts of kebab, and will never turn down a game of FIFA.
Sandy is a junior in Kirkland House, intending to concentrate in East Asian Studies. A native Bostonian, she most recently interned for 6 months at Asian Community Development Corporation, a Boston's Chinatown-based affordable housing development non-profit. Sandy is excited to be joining The Harvard Shop team as the operations manager next year. She loves music, traveling, and watching detective TV dramas.
Jocelyn is a sophomore in Kirkland House thinking about concentrating in Applied Math with a focus in economics. She is from Shanghai, China. Aside from HSA, Jocelyn is involved in Harvard Women In Business, club squash and pets as therapy at Phillips Brooks. In her spare time, she loves exploring new restaurants with friends, drinking bubble tea, running and contemplating about the next snack she should eat.
Daniel is a sophomore living in Currier and hopes to concentrate in Engineering Sciences. A native ofLong Island, he grew up in East Meadow, a small town about 40 minutes from the Big Apple. Aside from HSA, Daniel plays violin in the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra and serves on the board for the Harvard College Engineering Society. Having spent most of his time in high school involved in science research, Daniel hopes to explore business at HSA. Outside of work and school, Daniel loves listening to classical and chamber music, aviation and astronomy, napping, watching TV shows, playing Ultimate Frisbee, and eating Italian cuisine.
Bryant is a sophomore in Eliot, potentially concentrating in Social Studies. Bryant hails from South Dakota (the best Dakota!), and is enjoying not being walking distance from a cornfield. In addition to being a part of HSA, he is a mentor for the Boston Debate League and a student coordinator and blogger for the Harvard Admissions and Financial Aid Office. In his free time, Bryant enjoys adventures such as eating and sleeping.
Johanna is in her senior year at Harvard, concentrating in the History of Science. Outside of her studies, she enjoys singing with her a cappella group, The Harvard Callbacks, and tutoring children in the Boston area with Mission Hill After School Program. Hailing from Westchester, New York, Johanna loves being able to split her time between the suburban outdoors and the very urban NYC. She enjoys reading, running, and playing tennis.
